NBC17 & Garner.MyNC.com team up for YOU TUESDAY!

NBC 17 has joined the user-submitted content movement by featuring viewer’s articles, pictures and video during tonight’s 7 p.m. newscast. Each week, a dedicated staff will sift through submissions and air the best in school spirit, images from Friday Nights Football games, crowd reaction shots and more during the YOU TUESDAY segment, hosted by NBC 17’s nightly sports anchor Penn Holderness.

NBC 17 now allows the Triangle community to make, break, shape, and share the images and news that matters to them — as it happens. Whether you're interested in being an "on the scene" reporter during the football game on Friday night or the volleyball game or the student council meeting, covering the marching band or cheerleading squad, or being any combination of a writer, photographer, videographer, avid commenter, or even a general school sports enthusiast — Garner.MyNC.com lets you define the agenda. This effort is the largest commitment to "citizen journalism" by any other news source in the region and we want you to be a part of it!
