Filming winter
Claire sees off another slice of fruit loaf, Coire an Lochain, CairngormI was home from Spain about 5 hours when it was time to leave again to film Kev on a winter climb on Cairngorm. I didn’t work out on the winter climb, but it was good for us to go and learn some more beta about filming in this environment.
Claire did really well moving across icy slopes and learning to move with spikes on, especially in the gloom of a November night on Coire an Lochain’s headwall.
A chilly dangle in the mist for me. Remind me not to use my sport climbing harness for this again.I must admit I struggled slightly with carrying camera equipment, a very long rope and climbing gear too. Hardcore.
